Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I'm a cheese-eating, beer-drinking and overall working-class kind of artist.

I received my BFA from the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. It was here that I found painting to be my medium of choice, at first oil on canvas, but now primarily acrylic on wood.

My work has been featured in publications such as CREATIVEBLOCH and PIKCHUR magazine, as well as in exhibitions within my local communities and around the globe. It showcases themes of an individual raised on Saturday Morning Cartoons, inspired by the day to day and grounded in traditional painting and printmaking techniques.

Sometimes I find my surfaces in resale shops and sometimes on the curb. Discarded doors and drawers become the settings to my stories and live on to inspire a few more of their own... And to be honest, it’s an affordable way for me to keep making artwork that happens to prevent a few things from being thrown away.

As an artist, I focus on narrative. My goal is to advance and legitimize concepts of visual storytelling by making narratives accessible. The visuals I create need to be complex enough to inspire intrigue, while remaining tangible; they need to build the ego of the audience while remaining humble themselves; and they have to be the envy of the snobbish while being affordable to the masses.

The yarns I spin are for all. They are there in an attempt to interweave audiences with a smile

and illustrate the importance of art in our everyday lives.
